What happens when the lone reviewer of Britney’s new album calls one of its tracks a “brilliant disco banger”? Naturally, that song must be leaked for your listening pleasure.
“Kill the Lights” found its way to the YouTube over the weekend. Take a Spin:

One curious portions of the song is the intro, where a faux-radio newsman announces, “Our very own Pop Princess, now Queen of Pop has a special announcement she would like to make.”
It appears Britney’s bloodless coup to dethrone Madonna from her long-held throne has succeeded.

Spears’ ‘Circus’ isn’t out until December, but if you believe its first review, it seems that Britney is back on top for sure.
Writing in the UK Sun, celeb scribe Gordon Smart says he’s “the only journalist on the planet to have heard the pop princess’s latest offering.” He goes on to say that while the entire album is vintage Britney, “one track in particular left me stunned.”

That track is a bit on the racy side, so be prepared (or stop reading if you’re easily offended).
In the seemingly randomly titled ‘If You Seek Amy,’ Britney sets up the drama with the line “All the boys and all the girls want to if you seek Amy.” Huh? That may be what’s written in the lyric sheet, but according to Smart, what you hear is: “All the boys and all the girls want to f— me.”
Smart calls it “a great … stomping robo pop number.”
The whole album takes Britney’s “bravado to startling new heights,” Smart says, calling out tracks such as ‘Kill The Lights’ (”a brilliant disco banger”) for its equally direct lyrics. Aimed at the constant flashes of the paparazzi, Britney asks: “Is that money in your pocket or are you just pleased to see me?”
In ‘Out From Under,’ Spears seems to address her failed marriage to Kevin Federline, crooning: “We tried everything we could try so let’s just say goodbye forever.” Brown calls it “a stirring break-up ballad up there with the best.”
So there you have it: If the reviews are to be believed, Britney is officially out of comeback mode and back on top of the pop scene.

From the looks of it, there’s not much clowning around in Britney Spears’ Circus…despite the “Come one, come all!” lettering and primary-color palette.

Instead of denying that there is no such ’sex tape’ exist which her ex-boyfriend Adnan Ghalib is claiming BRITNEY SPEARS wants to purchase the sex tape she made with ex-lover ADNAN GHALIB so she can destroy it for good, according to a pal. The sun reports:

It is thought a pornography website is prepared to offer the photographer up to £5million for the footage. But now she’s staged a remarkable comeback, Britney is willing to part with as much of her own money as it takes to keep the tape off the market and the focus on her upcoming world tour. A pal told a newspaper: “Her lawyers have been working overtime. They’ve been told to do whatever it takes to stop the video making it onto the Internet.”

Britney Spears just started to returning to pop music icon status and now a new threat to her image is popping up. An ex-boyfriend is in possession of a video with hard core images of the singer that were filmed in Mexico.

The boys name is Adnan Ghalib, from Birmingham and confirmed that the video exists and the he will sell it to the highest bidder. A paparazzi has stated to ‘Heat’ magazine that he is not interested in the tape unless there is already a deal closed. “I am not interested anymore in selling more details about Britney”, said the photographer. The Spears-Galhib couple were together for three months at the beginning of this year and it was reportedly Britney Spears who left her ex-partner after having discovered that we had another girlfriend. The cold shower of the sexy tape for Britney arrives just days before the launching of her new world tour for the album ‘Circus’ and is expected out next year: this is Spears’ first tour since 2004.

Pop diva Britney Spears’ comeback single ‘Womanizer’ from her soon-to-be-released album ‘Circus’ has leaked on to the Internet.

The recovering pop icon’s ‘Womanizer’, which was expected to make its debut on September 22, has been partially uploaded online and can be heard at Nashville radio station 107.5 The River’’s website.

Britney has claimed ‘Circus’ to be her best work yet while the song itself features a provocative tune, reports Contactmusic.

According to Usweekly.com, the tune features sexy lyrics, with Spears” singing, “Boy don”t try to front/I know just what gets you off”.

The album is set to establish the star’s comeback while the album itself is set to release on 2nd December – her 27th birthday.

Britney recently gleamed at the MTV Video Music Awards on 7th September when she walked away with three trophies – ‘Video of the Year’, ‘Best Female Video’ and ‘Best Pop Video’.

Britney Spears enjoyed a triumphant return to the scene of one of her most humiliating public appearances here, scooping three top honors at the MTV Video Music Awards.

The pop icon suffered a critical mauling at the same awards show last year, when she stumbled and mimed her way through a performance that came amid turmoil in her private and professional life.

But a beaming Spears — who appears to have got her career back on track in recent months after a seemingly endless series of lurid headlines — cut a different figure as she accepted her honors here Sunday.

Spears won prizes for best female video, best pop video and video of the year for her single “Piece of Me” which took aim at the paparazzi who follow her every day.

It was the first time Spears had won a statuette at the MTV video awards despite 16 previous nominations.

“Thank God first and foremost for just blessing me like this, thank my beautiful family, my two beautiful boys for just inspiring me every day and my fans, this is for you. Thank you so much,” Spears said after collecting her first award of the night.

Spears recently ended a custody dispute with ex-husband Kevin Federline regarding the couple’s two young sons.

The Los Angeles-based singer lost custody of the children last year as her life unraveled in the full glare of a frenzied media.

She hit rock bottom in January when she was twice rushed to hospital for treatment in a psychiatric unit following fears for her mental health.

Spears shot to superstardom in late 1998 with her smash-hit debut album “Baby One More Time,” which she followed with another chart-topping success the following year, “Oops! … I Did It Again”.

Britney Spears will not be performing at this year’s MTV Video Music Awards, Ryan Seacrest reported on “On Air With Ryan Seacrest” on Monday morning.

Quoting Spears’s manager, Larry Rudolph, Seacrest said, “Britney Spears will not be performing at the VMAs this year. I’m telling you officially and unequivocally.”

According to Seacrest, Rudolph told him that Spears was “in the middle of recording her next album, which is going amazingly well, and was never supposed to perform at the show.”

Performance rumors arose after Spears appeared in promotional spots for the awards show with host Russell Brand. Her hairstylist Kim Vo also told E! that he was planning three hairstyles for the pop star for the Sept. 7 show, one for the red carpet, one for the show itself, and a third being something “quintessential Britney” for a performance.

Spears, the Susan Lucci of the “VMAs,” is up for three awards for her video “Piece of Me.” A win in any category would be her first Moonman after 16 nominations in previous years, according to MTV.

Though she won’t be singing at the “VMAs,” fans hoping to see Spears on stage again still can — thanks to Madonna. As previously reported on AccessHollywood.com, Spears filmed a video cameo in July for the Material Girl’s current “Sticky & Sweet” tour.

In footage appearing on YouTube, Spears’s cameo appears on three screens, switching between scenes of Spears in a grey hoodie trapped in an elevator and close-up shots of her in dark sunglasses, singing along with the lines “Express yourself, don’t repress yourself” during Madonna’s “Human Nature.”

An out-of-shape, out-of-touch Britney Spears has delivered what was destined to be the most talked about performance of the MTV Video Music Awards - but for all the wrong reasons.

Kicking off the show with her new single, Gimme More, Spears looked bleary and unprepared, much like her recent tabloid exploits on the streets of Los Angeles.

She walked through her dance moves with little enthusiasm. It appeared she had forgotten the entire art of lip-synching. And, perhaps most unforgivable given her once-taut frame, she looked embarrassingly out of shape.

Even the celebrity-studded audience seemed bewildered. 50 Cent looked at Spears with a confused expression; Diddy, her new best friend, was expressionless. The VMAs was hoping to reinvent itself after suffering poor reviews and a decline in ratings over the last few years.

MTV moved the show to Las Vegas’ Palms Casino, shortened the show from three hours to two, and changed the show’s set-up to focus more on performances than awards. To that end, Justin Timberlake and Timbaland, Kanye West, Fall Out Boy and the Foo Fighters were each hosting four separate suite parties, where much of the show’s performances would be held.

Thankfully, after Spears’ dismal start and a lukewarm intro by comedian Sarah Silverman, the show rebounded. Timberlake’s suite was packed with revellers, alcohol and eight lingerie-clad stripper types on raised platforms.

Before he accepted the Quadruple Threat of the Year award at his suite, the DJ summoned the partygoers to watch the monitor and go crazy if Timberlake won.

He did, they did, and Timberlake said: “I want to challenge MTV to play more videos!” Then he was whisked away by bodyguards and disappeared. He later won male artist of the year, and hit home on that point: “We don’t want to see the Simpsons on reality television” - apparently he is not a fan of either Jessica or Ashlee’s MTV shows.

Meanwhile, Rihanna won Monster Single of the Year for her ubiquitous hit Umbrella, and Beyonce and Shakira won Most Earthshattering Collaboration for Beautiful Liar. Beyonce’s shimmering gold dress barely contained her top; immediately after she picked up her trophy, she asked an assistant backstage to help fix her dress, apparently to prevent a wardrobe malfunction.

Other performers were appearing on the show’s main stage, in front of an industry-only audience seated at tables, like at the Golden Globes. Chris Brown gave one of the evening’s most extravagant performances - a dance-centric, eye-popping spectacle that channelled Michael Jackson, right down to a brief Billie Jean imitation. Later he was joined by Rihanna, who performed her monster single.

American pop star Britney Spears’ marriage to Kevin Federline officially ended yesterday when their divorce was finalised.

During a hearing at the Superior Court in Los Angeles, custody of their children was also arranged, however further legal action over the care of their two boys is expected.

The 25-year-old singer married backup dancer Federline in 2004, less than a year after her first marriage to childhood friend Jason Alexander was annulled.

Federline left his partner, actress Shar Jackson, when she was pregnant with their second child to marry Spears.

Spears and Federline had two children – 22-month-old Sean Preston and 10-month-old Jayden James – before she filed for divorce in November 2006.

Since their separation, Spears’ increasingly erratic behaviour has made tabloid headlines. The singer, once feted as a Christian role model, shaved off her famous head of hair, attacked an SUV with an umbrella and climbed on stage at a strip club, before checking into a rehab clinic in February.

In the past fortnight Spears’ behaviour has again put her in the spotlight. During a photoshoot with OK! magazine, a disorientated Spears allowed her dog to defecate on a designer dress, and, after eating chicken, wiped her hands on another gown. She then walked out of the shoot early, taking with her $14,000 (£6,900) worth of clothes.

Ok! Editor-In-Chief Sarah Ivens later released a statement, saying: “OK! Magazine spent a heartbreaking day with Britney Spears and witnessed first-hand an emotional cry for help that will leave you shocked and sad.”

Spears became famous at 11 after landing a part on children’s programme Mickey Mouse Club. She went on to record a string of number one hits and became one of America’s highest-earning entertainers, fronting campaigns for Pepsi and Sketchers before releasing her own fragrance.

She is reported to be working on a comeback album.

The bodyguard, Cesar Julio Camera, 37, was accused of grabbing and punching one photographer and pushing another into a wall about 11:30 a.m. Thursday at the spa at the Wynn Las Vegas hotel-casino.

Camera was issued a misdemeanor battery summons after the scuffle.

No serious injuries resulted, police said. Neither Spears, 25, nor the children _ 22-month-old Sean Preston Federline and 10-month-old Jayden James Federline _ were reported to have been hurt.

“There were no signs of injuries to her or the children, nor is she listed as a victim,” Las Vegas police Sgt. John Loretto said of the singer, songwriter, dancer and actress. She is listed in police reports as a witness, along with one man and five other women.

“The only person issued a citation was Ms. Spears’ private security guard, Mr. Camera,” Loretto said.

A representative at Jive Records, Spears’ record label, did not immediately respond to messages seeking comment, and a Wynn resort spokeswoman declined comment.

A lawyer for Spears’ estranged husband, Kevin Federline, also did not immediately respond to telephone and e-mail messages seeking comment on reports that Spears should not have had the children in Las Vegas. The couple are involved in divorce proceedings in California that according to several reports include restrictions on traveling out-of-state with the boys.

Police said the scuffle, which was captured on security videotape, occurred after Andrew Deetz, 24, and Kyle Henderson, 23, approached Spears and her entourage in a hallway and a hotel security guard told them to put their photo equipment away.

Henderson allegedly bumped Camera, who was holding Spears’ son, Sean.

Spears screamed, Camera “shouldered” Henderson against a wall, gave the child to Spears, and ran after Henderson and Deetz, according to police reports.

Police said Camera punched Deetz, who showed officers a lump and abrasion on his forehead. Henderson was not reported to have been hurt.

Loretto said he did not know when Camera was scheduled to respond to the summons. He could face up to six months in county jail and a $1,000 fine if convicted.

Spears has been involved in several recent confrontations with paparazzi. She apologized earlier this month for attacking a photographer’s car with an umbrella in February, saying she had been preparing to try out for a movie part and got carried away. The umbrella incident took place during a period in which she also shaved her head, got new tattoos and was seen partying hard in Los Angeles clubs.

Britney Spears looked miserable leaving LA club Les Deux on July 14. “She
was fighting back tears,” says one eyewitness. In the past, when times were
tough, Britney turned to one person: her mom, Lynne Spears. But now that’s
all over.

Brit’s convinced that Lynne is plotting to help Kevin Federline gain sole
custody of their sons. And their relationship has degenerated so much that
on June 28, before the singer delivered her now infamous note demanding
Lynne stay away from Sean Preston and Jayden James, she was shaking with
rage. “As she wrote the note,” says a friend of Brit’s, “she was saying,
‘You’ve got it coming, Mama. I really hate you.’”
