Pamela Anderson plans to open a strip club chain called Lapland.The former ‘Baywatch’ actress, whose great-grandfather was Finnish, has been touring Finland with her father and plans to pay tribute to her heritage with a new business venture. She wrote on her official website: “Our heritage is here. We are both excited. We will be taking lots of saunas. Save my liver.”Also I thought of a great way to celebrate my Finnish heritage at home. I’m going to look into opening a chain of strip clubs and I’ll call them Lapland!”Pammie, who is an ardent animal rights campaigner, has written to Finnish President Tarja Halonen and begged her to ban fur farms. She said: “It’s time for Finland to move into the 21st century and follow suit.”There are hundreds of fur farms here. The demand is getting lower for fur coats and they breed foxes here just for fur. Awful. Sweden, Austria and England have banned fur farms. Let’s hope Finland will too. Other than that I’m very proud of my Finnish heritage. It is the most beautiful countryside.”The letter was distributed by PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals).Finland’s fur auctioneers have insisted Pammie’s campaign is unrealistic. Paivi Mononen-Mikkila, a spokeswoman for the Finnish Fur Sales auction house, said: “It’s not surprising coming from her, a known anti-fur campaigner. It’s really not realistic as so many people earn their livelihood from the fur trade.”Finland is one of Europe’s biggest fur producers, with 1,400 farms producing two million fox furs each year.The president confirmed she had received the letter, but declined to comment.

Justin Timberlake seems to be in the seventh heaven after spending time with Jessica Biel in the UK earlier this month.

According to reports, the couple is becoming inseparable, and friends of Timberlake have already started claiming that the singer is in “love” with the ‘Home of The Brave’ actress.

Timberlake and Biel were first spotted together at a Golden Globes after-party in January, and were seen getting cozy in Utah during the Sundance Film Festival.

Biel recently took time out to join Timberlake on a Europe tour, where they enjoyed a romantic date at Manchester’s five-star Lowry Hotel.

“Justin’s in love. She’s the coolest chick ever. He wants to be with her all the time. He’s ready to be serious,” People quoted a source, as saying.

The film revolves around Lohan’s character, Aubrey Fleming, who, after being kidnapped and tortured, returns claiming to be somebody else, and insisting that the real Aubrey is still being held captive by a ruthless serial killer.

The film, from Sony Pictures, hits theaters from July 27.

Meanwhile, Lindsay Lohan’s ad campaign for designer Jill Stuart have surfaced.

Jill Stuart insists that the ‘Mean Girls’ actress, was the best person to represent the brand.

“I can’t say enough fantastic things about Lindsay. She is sexy and smart, exactly what the Jill Stuart woman embodies.”

Tim Schifter, the chairman and chief executive officer of Schifter + Partners, the accessories firm that has the license for Jill Stuart handbags and small leather goods says :

He also insisted that Lohan was a good choice as the company’s face.

In other news, Lindsay Lohan’s 21st birthday party will be sponsored by a vodka company, according to her lawyer.
The actress’ legal representative Mike Heller has revealed Svedka Vodka will be one of the sponsors of Lindsay’s upcoming July birthday bash.
Heller told Us Weekly magazine: “This should be one of the best parties ever.”
However, the star’s representative is not willing to discuss her party plans, saying: “I am unaware of who is sponsoring Lindsay’s birthday, as I am not the one planning it.”

Lindsay – who reaches the landmark age on July 2 – checked into the Wonderland rehab centre in January, to be treated for alcoholism, following an all-night drinking binge at the Golden Globe Awards.

She is now a member of Alcoholics Anonymous, despite not yet being legally old enough to drink in the US.
Other sponsors include Las Vegas nightspots Pure nightclub, Caesars Palace and the Social House restaurant at Treasure Island, and the party is expected to take place in the city.

Lindsay’s mother Dina recently confirmed her daughter is still attending Alcoholics Anonymous meetings.
