PARTY princess Paris Hilton is $60 million out of pocket after her billionaire grandfather - appalled by her jail term for drink-driving offences - axed her inheritance.

Family patriarch Barron Hilton was already embarrassed by his granddaughter’s wild behaviour - notably when her home sex video was leaked on the internet.

But the 79-year-old considered her 23-day sentence last month the last straw.

“He was, and is, extremely embarrassed by how the Hilton name has been sullied by Paris,” says Jerry Oppenheimer, who wrote a biography of the clan called House Of Hilton.

“He now doesn’t want to leave unearned wealth to his family.”

Hilton senior, the only member of the family left with a sizeable stake in the huge hotel chain, has let it be known that he intends to donate to charity the $2.4bn he will gain from this month’s sale of the company to private equity firm Blackstone.

The money will go to the Conrad N. Hilton Foundation, the charity set up in the name of the founder of the family business.

After 23 days in jail, Paris Hilton is finally a free woman.

The heiress was released from prison shortly after midnight on Tuesday. Law enforcement sources tell TMZ that Paris lost nearly 10 pounds during her stay, and that on her way out of jail, she stopped to change clothes in a public restroom that “smells rancid.”

Sources also tell TMZ that Lynwood jail is happy to see Paris go, and they hope that things can now get back to normal.

PARIS Hilton may be force fed by a drip following worries over her sudden weight loss and refusal to eat in prison.

The hotel heiress, who is serving a 45-day sentence for driving on a suspended licence, has sparked concerns after losing over 2.2kg in a week and appearing “weak and lethargic”.

Paris’s weight has plummeted to 45kg since she was transferred back to California’s Century Regional Detention Centre last week.

A source was quoted in Britain’s The Sun newspaper as saying: “After she was transferred back, Paris refused to eat. Staff became worried as she seems very thin with her bones poking out. She was also very weak and lethargic.

“They threatened to put her on an intravenous drip to rehydrate her and give her some nourishment unless she started eating. She has since managed to get a little food down, but doctors are closely monitoring her.

“She looks very pale. She’s not allowed to wear make-up and her hair is matted and frizzy from washing it with soap as there’s no shampoo.”

Paris, 26, is reportedly only allowed to leave her cell for an hour a day, and the only human contact she has is with the doctors and three deputies who monitor her.

The “medical condition” the blonde was said to be suffering from has still not been officially disclosed, but was earlier reported as Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD).

Paris Hilton has been responding to fan mail to keep busy in prison and E! obtained a copy of one of her letters. Paris writes:

“I read your letter and just wanted to thank you for your kind words of love and support. The fact that you took time out of your day to write me truly means the world. Especially at such a difficult and scary time in my life. But I am being strong and trying to make the best out of the situation. And the letters I’m receiving really do put a smile on my face as I sit here in my cell, sad and alone. Again, thank you so much and may God bless you and your family.

Love always, Paris Hilton.”

After spending several days in a prison medical facility, hotel heiress Paris Hilton has gone back to a regular women’s jail.

The 26-year-old left the Twin Towers prison and was back Thursday in the Lynwood facility where she had suffered an earlier breakdown, tmz.com reported.

Hilton was in stable condition, police spokesperson Steve Whitmore said.

Hilton’s release from jail to home detention last week due to medical problems provoked such a public outcry that a judge forced her to return behind bars - albeit to the hospital section.

She is serving a 45-day sentence for breaking her probation by driving on a suspended license. She could be released after 23 days for good behaviour on June 25.

A study by the Los Angeles Times showed Hilton’s sentence is 80 percent longer than those for similar instances in Los Angeles. In the past year, those with similar offences served an average of four days out of a 14-day sentence.

Paris called her Mom from jail, who was already on the line speaking to Barbara Walters. Kathy Hilton told Paris that Barbara was on the other line, and Paris asked her mom if she could speak to Barbara directly, so Kathy clicked over.

Here’s some of what Paris told Barbara:

“I used to act dumb. It was an act. That act is no longer cute. It is not who I am, nor do I want to be that person for the young girls who look up to me. Now, I would like to make a difference…God has given me this new chance. I was not eating or sleeping,” she said. I was severely depressed and felt as if I was in a cage…It was a horrible experience.”

Paris Hilton is finally getting a clue that the public is unimpressed with her jail drama. The locked up and reportedly mentally fragile heiress has issued the following statement in an attempt to do some serious damage control.

“Today I told my attorneys not to appeal the judge’s decision. While I greatly appreciate the Sheriff’s concern for my health and welfare, after meeting with doctors I intend to serve my time as ordered by the judge.

This is by far the hardest thing I have ever done. During the past several days, I have had a lot of time to reflect and have already learned a bitter, but important lesson from this experience.

As I have said before, I hope others will learn from my mistake. I have also had time to read the mail from my fans. I very much appreciate all of their good wishes and hope they will keep their letters coming.

I must also say that I was shocked to see all of the attention devoted to the amount of time I would spend in jail for what I had done by the media, public and city officials. I would hope going forward that the public and the media will focus on more important things, like the men and women serving our country in Iraq, Afghanistan and other places around the world.”

So Paris is going to shut up and do her time. At least until her next nervous breakdown.

Singer and socialite Paris Hilton arrived at the court house two hours late. Law officials say that the delay was caused by the Sheriff’s department refusing to allow the “judge’s order” to pick up Hilton. The Sheriff reportedly believes that the police department has the exclusive right to make decisions where Paris is concerned.

The 26-year-old Hilton was already weeping when she was led into Superior Court Judge Michael T. Sauer’s courtroom and it didn’t get any better for the hotel heiress.

Sauer was obviously upset with Sheriff Lee Baca’s decision to allow Hilton to serve the remainder of her sentence at home. Baca had cited a “medical condition” as reason for allowing Paris Hilton’s early release but Sauer wasn’t buying it.

“I at no time condoned the actions of the sheriff and at no time told him I approved the actions, at no time did I approve the defendant being released from custody to her home,” Sauer stated during the proceedings.

Hilton, who had reported to the Century Regional Detention Facility on Sunday, served three full days in jail but had been credited with five after being let out early Thursday morning.

Her release incensed Assistant City Attorney Dan F. Jeffries who claimed, “Her release after only three days erodes confidence in the judicial system.”

After several attorneys from both sides of the case spoke Sauer laid down his ruling, “The defendant is remanded to county jail to serve the remainder of her 45-day sentence. This order is forthwith.”

With that Hilton broke down and screamed and left the courtroom yelling “It’s not right!”. As her daughter was led out to serve the remainder of her sentence Hilton’s mom openly wept.

Paris Hilton was released from a Los Angeles County jail early yesterday because of an unspecified medical problem and will fulfill the reminder of her sentence in home confinement, a sheriff’s spokesman said.

The 26-year-old hotel heiress was sent home shortly after 2 am fitted with an electronic monitoring bracelet. She had spent five days at the Century Regional Detention Facility in suburban Los Angeles for violating probation in an alcohol-related reckless driving case.

“I can’t specifically talk about the medical situation other than to say that, yes, it played a part in this,” said sheriff’s spokesman Steve Whitmore.

Hotel heiress and reality TV personality Hilton, 26, had been sentenced to 45 days behind bars, but had been expected to serve 23 days because of state rules allowing shorter sentences for good behaviour.

“Paris Hilton has been fitted for an ankle bracelet and put under house arrest, after authorities determined to release Hilton from prison due to medical reasons,” Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department spokesman Steve Whitmore said.

Faced with some raised eyebrows and tough questioning, Whitmore stressed that she had not been set free, but rather “reassigned” to serve her sentence at home.

“After extensive consultation with medical personnel included doctors here at CRDF (jail), it was determined that Paris Hilton would be reassigned to our community-based alternative to custody electronic monitoring programme,” the spokesman said.

Real actors will star as the half-cat-half-human superheroes battling the evil Mumm-Ra mummie who lives in a sarcophagus. The television series put out some 130 episodes of Thundercats in 1985 and 1986. The announcement follows Warner Bros.’ recent decision to also make a movie out of the 1980s cartoon series He-Man and the Masters of the Universe.
